NEWS!

8-2-10 Breeding season is a bust so far, don't expect much if anything for sale.  All of the corn clutches laid so far have gone bad.  the baird's clutch looks good though, not sure what is going on.  Still have one corn left to lay and who knows might get some double clutches from the females who have laid already,

8-2-09 The first batch of 2009 babies are now posted on the available page!

7-26-09 First clutch has hatched, and shed but not with the results I wanted.  All the lavender morphs in the clutch were kinked very badly and have already been put down.  Selling this pair anyways, but now I will not recommend they are paired again.  Two clutches may start to hatch next week, here's hoping Murphy will let me slide a little.

7-9-09 We will be at the Rocky Mountain Reptile Expo in Denver on August 8th.  I will have a lot of critters for sale, HOPEFULLY some baby corns as well, though I only have one or two clutches due to hatch before that show.  I will be highly motivated to not come home with as many snakes as I left with so make reasonable offers!  If you look at their map the table is under my name, Sarah Garrett. 

6-28-09 all corn snakes have laid! I have one more clutch expected from my Bairds Rat and possibly double clutches to go, but for the most part I'm not anticipating any more clutches.  Which is good since I have over 70 eggs already and the incubator is FULL!

6-3-09 Corn snake eggs! Two of my corns have laid so far.  Vortex laid 15 and Samhain has 21 out and is still in the process.  How many more can fit in there?

5-15-09 Breeding season begins with one of my own!  That's right I am pregnant!  Right now 13 weeks and 5 days along.  I am due November 15th.  Unfortunately, this means some serious cutting back of reptiles for a little while.  It's not that I cannot handle this many snakes, it's that it will be harder to pay for their food now.  So anyway BIG SALE HERE!  I'm going to let go of all the boas, a few corns and a couple bairds.  It's a start anyways.

3-5-09 Breeding season is here! All my corns, rats and hogs are out of brumation now and should be ready to pair up soon!

1-15-09 BALL COLLECTION FOR SALE:  After some careful consideration and a bit of soul searching, I've decided to get out of ball pythons.  I just do not have this love/hate relationship with any of my other species like I do with balls.  I'm keeping a couple for pets, but the rest can go to new homes.  I'm not shipping a lot currently considering how the weather is in most of the country so for now local pick up only. SOLD OUT.

12-28-08 New Site!    I'm in the process of redesigning many of the pages of this website and in the future will add a few pages such as care sheets, some general information and some thoughts on my pet keeping philosophy.  Currently most of my corns, rats and both hognose snakes are brumating, giving me a well deserved break from feeding so many snakes!  They will be warmed up March 1st for the 2009 breeding season, however I will only have a few pairs breeding this time around.  I also currently have a pair of ball pythons breeding.  I have seen Coyote and Clarion locked up numerous times already.  This will be my first real attempt at breeding balls!
